Tehran Bus Syndicate: Sentences Confirmed – Six Years in Prison for Reza Shahabi and Hassan Saeedi

According to the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company, the initial sentences of six years in prison and two years of exile for Reza Shahabi and Hassan Saeedi were upheld in the appeals court.

As reported by the syndicate’s Telegram channel, these labor activists from the Bus Company were tried on charges of engaging in propaganda against the regime and gathering and conspiring to commit crimes against national security.

In a statement released by the syndicate, it is stated that the confirmation of the unjust sentences of six years of imprisonment and two years of exile, along with the prohibition of activities against the imprisoned workers Reza Shahabi and Hassan Saeedi, has caused increased anger and resentment among the families of these dear ones and all of us. Our colleagues must be immediately and unconditionally released.
