Tehran City Council Increased Public Transportation Fares for Next Year

Tehran City Council increased the price of public transportation for next year

In today’s meeting, the Tehran City Council increased the ticket and fare rates for public transportation for the year 1403 (2024)

Accordingly, the single-trip ticket price in Tehran, which is currently 3300 tomans, will increase to 4300 tomans next year. For suburban lines to Parand and Hashtgerd, a 30% increase is planned

With the decision of the Tehran City Council, next year the rapid bus ticket price will increase by 21% and the regular bus by 30%

For next year, the maximum taxi fare increase has been announced as 45%

According to the announcement, the new rates will be implemented from the beginning of Ordibehesht (April-May) next year
