Tehran Police Commander: 119 people arrested on charges of disrupting the currency market

Hossein Rahimi, Tehran Police Commander, has announced the arrest of 119 people on charges of disrupting the currency market and the discovery of 445,000 currency units valued at over 6 billion Tomans.

He mentioned that these individuals were active in various fields and stated that 20 of them have been transferred to prison.

The Tehran Police Commander also stated that the cyber police have identified 67 channels and pages related to disruption in the currency market.
