Tehran’s Preventive Police have arrested counterfeit coin sellers

The head of Tehran’s Preventive Police Command has announced the arrest of two individuals accused of selling counterfeit coins

Ali Ghasempour stated that these individuals were arrested after a victim filed a complaint that they had purchased counterfeit coins from them

This Tehran police official added that after this complaint, the matter was prioritized by the police, and the suspects were arrested when they, looking well-dressed, intended to sell counterfeit coins to a jewelry store

According to Mr. Ghasempour, the police discovered and seized 53 counterfeit coins that had been coated and forged with gold plating during this operation
