Temperature in Bushehr Province surpasses 50 degrees

According to an expert from the Bushehr Province Meteorological Department, the temperature in the cities of Borazjan, Ahram, and Khormuj has reached 50 degrees Celsius.

Mohammadreza Ansari said that yesterday, the city of Borazjan, the center of Dashtestan County, was the hottest city in the province with a temperature of 51 degrees Celsius.

As Ansari mentioned, it is predicted that today and tomorrow, the 20th and 21st of Tir, temperatures above 50 degrees Celsius will continue in some parts of this province.

On July 29, 2017, Abadan recorded the highest temperature of 63 degrees Celsius, earning the title of the hottest city.

The Lut Desert in Kerman Province also registered a global record for the highest ground temperature of 71 degrees Celsius in 2005.
