The Largest Theft in Home Depot Store History

Prosecutors in California have announced the arrest of a family-run gang that stole over $10 million worth of goods from Home Depot chain stores.

According to judicial authorities, this case is considered the largest organized theft in the history of Home Depot hardware chain stores in the United States.

The leader of this gang has been identified as the owner of a wholesale shop named Aria Wholesale. He, along with his relatives and subordinates, was stealing expensive electrical components, including circuit breakers, dimmers, and electrical switches and outlets from 71 Home Depot branches in Los Angeles, Orange County, Ventura, Riverside, and San Bernardino.

Reports indicate that sometimes all branches in the area were targeted simultaneously in a single day.

Nathan Hochman, the Los Angeles District Attorney, confirmed this news by announcing that so far, 14 people have been arrested and 9 have been charged.

Approximately $37 million worth of stolen goods have been discovered and seized from this gang so far.
