The bill for Friday closures was submitted to the Parliament

The Executive Vice President of the Islamic Republic, referring to the issue of Friday closures, said that a bill in this regard has been submitted to the Parliament.

According to ISNA, Mohsen Mansouri emphasized in the meeting of the Central Coordination Committee for Travel Services, which was held on April 1st, that the closure of Fridays is one of the good resolutions that provides a suitable infrastructure for travel, especially short trips.

He stated that the government has submitted the bill for Friday closures to the Parliament as an amendment to Article 87 of the Civil Service Management Law, and expressed hope that this bill will be implemented.

The issue of Friday closures has been raised several times before, including last November when the head of the Administrative and Employment Organization of the country announced the submission of a proposal to the Parliament to add Friday to the official weekend holidays nationwide.
