The CEO of the Infrastructure Communications Company announced that in the past month, organized cyberattacks on Iran have been launched from 170 countries

The CEO of the Infrastructure Communications Company stated that organized cyber attacks on Iran have been conducted from 170 countries in the past month.

The CEO of the Infrastructure Communications Company confirmed that in the past month, severe cyber attacks have been carried out on the country’s infrastructure from about 170 countries. These attacks are not individual in nature but are completely organized.

This official from the Ministry of Communications added that many of the country’s internal devices and equipment are infected, and a new wave of cyber attacks began two days before the war started. Although these attacks have decreased since yesterday, they are still ongoing.

The CEO of the Infrastructure Communications Company acknowledged that Iran’s network is one of the most infected networks, and in the past three to four years, due to sanctions and currency fluctuations, the hardware used in the country is mostly second-hand, making it easy to infect them.
