The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army announced that his country will respond to Iran's military attack

The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army announced that his country will respond to a military attack by Iran.

On the evening of Monday, April 16, Hertzi Halevi told the pilots of his country’s F-35 jets at the Nevatim Airbase that the missiles fired at Israel will be met with a response.

General Halevi said that Iran wanted to damage Israel’s strategic capabilities, something that had not been done in the past. We have prepared ourselves for the Iron Defense operation, and Iran faced our air superiority. We are weighing our next steps. The firing of this large number of missiles, cruise missiles, and drones at Israeli territory will be met with a response.

Nevatim Airbase, which houses some squadrons of F-35 aircraft, was one of the targets of Iran’s ballistic missile attack on Saturday evening. According to the Israeli Army spokesperson, it sustained very minor damage and continued its full operations.
