At the same time, the Coordinating Council of Iranian Teachers’ Trade Associations reported that reliable sources have confirmed that on Sunday night, during indiscriminate shooting by law enforcement officers at a family in a car on the Lamerd-Bastak road, Soha Etemadi, a 12-year-old schoolgirl, was killed.
Government media reported today that Hossein Ashtari, the Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Law Enforcement Force, issued a special directive for investigating this case in a message.
In his message, he wrote that while offering condolences to the respected family of the deceased, he has assigned the General Inspection of the Law Enforcement Force to investigate this case.
In this message, without naming the deceased individual, he confirmed that the death of the young girl from Bastak occurred yesterday during a shooting and chase of a suspicious vehicle in Bastak County, Hormozgan Province.
