Jalal Al-Ahmad’s nephew says that officials prevented the anniversary ceremony for the passing of Ms. Simin Daneshvar from being held at the Simin and Jalal House Museum.

Mohammad Hossein Danaei, the nephew of the late Jalal Al-Ahmad, wrote in a note that March 9th is the anniversary of the passing of Ms. Dr. Simin Daneshvar, a shining star in the sky of contemporary literature who became known as the lady of Iranian fiction literature by writing the novel ‘Savushun’.
