The conservative newspaper Farheekhtegan addressed Mirsalim, advising him not to comment on everything and to choose silence.
In today’s issue, the conservative newspaper Farheekhtegan criticized Mostafa Mirsalim, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, for his comments on the widespread protests in Iran, which have exacerbated the situation, and advised him that he can easily choose to remain silent.
The newspaper wrote that merely being a member of parliament does not grant you the license to comment on every specialized issue.
Recently, Mr. Mirsalim, known for his controversial remarks, demanded that protesters be executed within five or ten days after their arrest.
These statements were met with numerous negative reactions, to the point where he had to clarify his intentions and state that his words were misinterpreted.
Farheekhtegan newspaper says it had previously told the officials that if they do not know how to speak correctly, they should at least practice speaking less.
