The Death Sentence for the Main Defendant in the Razayat Khodro Taravat Novin Company Case Confirmed

The death sentence for the primary defendant in the case of Razayat Khodro Taravat Novin Company has been confirmed.

According to the Judiciary Media Center, Ali Asghar Asgari stated regarding the case of Razayat Khodro Taravat Novin Company that the verdict issued by the Special Court for Economic Crimes in Qazvin Province concerning the primary defendant in the Razayat Khodro Taravat Novin case has been confirmed by the Supreme Court after an appeal.

He stated that after holding 13 public sessions of the Special Court for Economic Disruption Crimes in the province, the court issued its verdict regarding this case, which involved a large number of plaintiffs. This case had over 28,000 plaintiffs and 28 individual and corporate defendants.

Asgari added that according to the regulations of the Special Court for Economic Crimes, all verdicts issued in this case were final, except for the death sentence issued for the primary defendant, which was subject to appeal. Other individual defendants were sentenced to long-term imprisonment, and the corporate entities were sentenced to dissolution.

He continued that the primary defendant exercised this legal right and submitted an appeal request to the Supreme Court.

After reviewing the case in one of the Supreme Court’s branches, the verdict issued by the Special Court was confirmed and finalized.

The public prosecutor and revolutionary court of Qazvin Province emphasized at the end that the province’s judiciary will take necessary actions according to the law to execute the Supreme Court’s final verdict accurately and timely.
