The Deputy Minister of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran achieved nearly one billion dollars in military exports last year

The Deputy Minister of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran had nearly one billion dollars in military exports last year.

The Deputy Minister of Defense of the Islamic Republic claimed in a speech at Rajaei University in Tehran on Monday, November 13, that Iran had nearly one billion dollars in military exports last year.

Mehdi Farahi, without mentioning the details of Iran’s military export items, said that the Ministry of Defense utilizes knowledge-based companies, industrial parks, universities, and science and technology parks, with seven thousand companies and over 100,000 people collaborating with this ministry.

This official from the Ministry of Defense announced Iran’s one billion dollar military exports last year, while the UN Security Council sanctions against Iran’s missile program, based on the amendment to Iran’s nuclear agreement, the JCPOA, ended late October this year.

Nevertheless, the U.S. government announced it would intensify efforts to counter this program and drone production in Iran by imposing new sanctions.
