The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency: The Nuclear Facilities of the Islamic Republic Cannot Be Destroyed with a Single Attack

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency says the nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic cannot be destroyed with a single attack.

Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, on Friday, June 5th, in an interview with the Financial Times, referred to concerns regarding the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic.

Grossi, emphasizing that Iran’s sensitive nuclear facilities are located deep underground and are very difficult to access, said the most sensitive parts are 800 meters below ground.

I have been there many times; to reach there, you have to go down a winding tunnel, down, down, and down.

He said Iran’s nuclear capabilities cannot be destroyed with a single attack.

These remarks were made amid escalating tensions between Iran and Western countries over Tehran’s nuclear program.

Grossi warned that if negotiations fail, there is a possibility of military action, but he emphasized that such an attack cannot completely eliminate the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic.
