The duration of Alireza Beiranvand’s absence from football has been determined
Alireza Beiranvand suffered a severe jaw injury after a collision with Saeid Ezatolahi early in the match against Uzbekistan. Follow-ups and specialist doctors’ diagnosis indicated that Beiranvand’s jaw was fractured and he needs surgery.
After the jaw surgery, Beiranvand will need between 3 to 8 weeks to return to his normal routine and training, and there is no news of a long-term absence. There are many cases of football players with jaw injuries that, depending on the type of surgery and severity of the fracture, required a maximum of 8 weeks to return to training.
Beiranvand’s jaw fracture is not severe, and certainly after surgery and a few weeks of rest, he can return to training and will have no problem joining Persepolis.
