The End of Iran’s Volleyball Dominance in Asia

The 20th edition of the Men’s World Volleyball Championship concluded after 52 matches and 17 days of effort by the participating teams.

The 2022 Men’s World Volleyball Championship, which began on August 26th hosted by Slovenia and Poland, ended on the night of September 11th with the final two matches held at Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland, and Italy lifted the championship trophy.

The teams from Poland, Brazil, and Slovenia took the second to fourth places in this competition. The Iranian national volleyball team, with two victories against Egypt and Argentina and two defeats against the Netherlands and Brazil, ranked thirteenth in the tournament. Iran placed thirteenth in these competitions after Japan.
