The far-right has opened its mouth to swallow Israel
Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, two extreme and dangerous right-wing leaders in the territories controlled by the Israeli government, have achieved a major success in the Israeli elections with their joint electoral list known as Religious Zionism, surpassing predictions and polls. Ben-Gvir is one of the most dangerous extremist figures to have appeared on the Israeli political scene. His behavior and actions have, at times, been just a few steps away from domestic terrorism, and now he is someone who, with this disgraceful record, has been openly promised a ministerial position and even control of the Israeli police by Netanyahu.
Smotrich, who is a shocking case, has been known for his extremism, radical statements, and actions against Arabs and Muslims even before reaching the age of forty. Even in the days leading up to the elections, he has harshly criticized someone like Netanyahu.
