The French President does not rule out the option of sending troops to Ukraine if Russia advances and Kyiv requests it.
Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, once again spoke on Thursday about the potential option of sending his country’s troops to Ukraine.
In an interview with The Economist, the French President emphasized that he does not rule out sending his country’s military forces to Ukraine. Emmanuel Macron’s statements are significant given France’s membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
A few months ago, he spoke for the first time about the potential option of sending troops to Ukraine, remarks that were met with a strong reaction from Moscow.
