The Guardian Council's Spokesperson Manages the Executive Branch Until the Presidential Decree is Inaugurated by Pezeshkian

The spokesperson for the Guardian Council will manage the executive branch until the day of the presidential decree for Pezeshkian.

Hadi Tahan Nazif, the spokesperson for the Guardian Council, stated that Mohammad Mokhber will manage the executive branch until the day of the presidential decree for Masoud Pezeshkian, and after that, he can continue his work as the first vice president as long as the new president wishes.

According to the election law, the presidential term begins when the leader of the Islamic Republic endorses the president’s decree.

Mr. Khamenei’s office has not yet announced the date for Masoud Pezeshkian’s decree endorsement.
