The Guardian’s Revelation: European Companies’ Components in Iranian Drones

The British newspaper The Guardian, in an exclusive report based on Ukrainian government documents, has addressed the involvement of European companies in the construction of drones used by Russia in the Ukraine war. The report states that the Iranian-made suicide drones recently used in attacks on Ukrainian cities contain components that are manufactured in Europe.

This report is based on documents that the British newspaper says the Ukrainian government has secretly sent to its allies.

These documents consist of 47 pages that the Ukrainian government sent in August to the seven industrialized countries known as the Group of Seven. Kyiv has claimed that over the past three months, about 600 drone attacks have been carried out on its cities using Western technology.

According to documents obtained by The Guardian, 52 electronic components made by Western companies have been used in the Iranian-made Shahed-131 drone. This number is reported to be about 57 components for the Shahed-136 drone.
