In today’s editorial, the Ham Mihan newspaper wrote: Mr. Raisi, did you forget that you mocked the previous government, claiming that if you didn’t come, there was a risk of the dollar reaching 5,000 tomans? Now that it has reached the current prices, what do you say? Gold coins are breaking new records alongside the dollar. Meat prices have skyrocketed, with lamb reaching over 500,000 tomans, and yet you are taxing salaries over 7 million tomans, equivalent to 14 kilograms of meat, to cover the government’s additional expenses. The current government lacks an economic theory and repeats the worst actions of previous governments without understanding their consequences. In this management, the minimum scientific and professional qualifications for running the country’s economy are not evident. To prove this claim, it is enough for Mr. Raisi to explain how they intend to control inflation and why they haven’t succeeded so far. By the way, these days, when 10 percent of the national currency’s value has decreased in a short time, why have you remained silent? Why should anyone believe your claims? How do you intend to control it?
