The Head of Tehran's Computer Technologists Union Says the Government Treats IT Decisions Like It's Sausage and Cold Cuts

The head of the Tehran Computer Technologists Union says the government makes decisions about IT as if this technology were sausages and cold cuts.

Mohammad Reza Faraji Tehrani, the head of the Tehran Computer Technologists Union, said unfortunately the government makes decisions about IT with an inappropriate perspective, as if it were giving opinions about sausages and cold cuts.

He added that this mistaken approach has led to IT industry activists being overlooked.

Faraji Tehrani said that regarding currency provision for various sectors, some industries like clothing can be managed with domestic help.

However, in the IT sector, real production is not possible without sourcing foreign raw materials.
