The Head of the Atomic Energy Organization: Maximum Pressure Couldn't Stop the Nuclear Program

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization said maximum pressure could not halt the nuclear program.

Mohammad Eslami, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, emphasized the continuation of Iran’s nuclear activities, describing them as entirely peaceful, ahead of nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington in Oman.

In his speech before the Friday prayers sermon in Tehran, he stated that foreign efforts to stop Iran’s progress have been fruitless and that Iran has surpassed the red lines set by Western countries.

Eslami, referring to sanctions and international pressures, said that maximum pressure could not stop us and we have advanced relying on internal capabilities.

The head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization also criticized the double standards of the International Atomic Energy Agency and the United States, adding that while we have adhered to our commitments, we are still facing baseless accusations.

He emphasized that Iran will continue its path of scientific and technical development and no threat can hinder this movement.
