An arrest warrant has been issued for Elham Rasouli, a civil activist.

Elham Rasouli, a civil activist residing in Tehran, was summoned to Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court on Thursday, February 27th, and a warrant with four charges has been issued against her.

According to this warrant, Ms. Rasouli is accused of inciting people to commit crimes against domestic and foreign security, spreading lies about the supporters of the late Armita Ghorbani’s death, conspiracy to commit crimes against domestic and foreign security, and propaganda against the system.

Among the allegations against Ms. Rasouli are publishing statements by students and sending news about Nazila Moeini, a journalist who was arrested and imprisoned several times last year.

Elham Rasouli was detained for several hours on January 8th of this year and was released on bail of two billion tomans after initial interrogation.

This civil activist was also charged in the Martyr Mghaddas Courthouse on February 28th.
