The Inflation Rate in Tehran's Housing Sector Surpassed 86% in November, According to the Iranian Statistics Center

The Statistical Center of Iran reported that the inflation in the housing sector in Tehran for the month of Aban exceeded 86 percent.

The Statistical Center of Iran has addressed the inflation in the housing sector in the capital of Iran in its latest report.

According to this report, the twelve-month inflation rate leading up to Aban for residential apartments in Tehran exceeded 86 percent, which is an increase of 0.7 percent compared to the month of Mehr.

According to the announcement by the Statistical Center of Iran, the price of residential apartments in Tehran in Aban this year was 69 percent higher compared to the same month last year.

It has been stated that last month, the weighted average price of residential apartments sold in Tehran was set at 80 million and 680 thousand tomans.

The weighted average refers to the ratio of the total value of properties sold to the total area of those properties in a specific region.

Many statistics indicate that housing construction in Iran does not meet the market demand.

Ebrahim Raisi, the President of Iran, has consistently promised the construction of one million houses annually, which has not been realized so far.
