The Judiciary Military Prosecutor's Office Has Taken Action Regarding the Assaulting Officer

The Judiciary has taken action regarding the military prosecutor concerning the officer involved in the assault.

Masoud Setayeshi, the spokesperson for the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated that the individual involved in the violent encounter with a protesting citizen over the serial poisoning of schoolgirls is not a member of the police or law enforcement, but their case is under investigation by the military prosecutor.

Mr. Setayeshi mentioned that less than a few hours after the images were released, the Tehran military prosecutor’s office intervened. The individual who assaulted the woman was identified, arrested, summoned, and charged, with a judicial custody order and legal supervision issued against them.

In the images shared on social media, a plainclothes officer was seen pulling a woman’s hair, apparently with the intention of arresting her, as she protested the ongoing serial poisonings.
