The Koh-i-Noor diamond will not be used in the coronation of Charles III.
The controversial diamond claimed by India, known as the Koh-i-Noor, will not be used in the coronation ceremony of Charles III, King of Britain, in London.
Instead, Queen Consort Camilla, the wife of the British king, will wear a crown adorned with diamonds from the personal collection of the late Queen Elizabeth.
India argues that a 19th-century ruler of the country was deceived into handing over the Koh-i-Noor diamond during British colonial rule and wants it returned.
This giant diamond is also claimed by Pakistan and the Taliban in Afghanistan.
