The office of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that Eid al-Fitr will not be tomorrow in Iran.

The office of Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, declared that according to received reports, the crescent moon of Shawwal was not sighted at sunset today, Thursday, April 20th, in Iran, and tomorrow will be the last day of Ramadan.

According to reports, around 100 groups were dispatched to various regions of Iran to search for the new crescent moon of Shawwal.

It has been reported from the Imam Ali Observatory in the village of Varich, Qom Province, that due to unfavorable weather conditions and cloudy skies in this area, the crescent moon of Shawwal was not sighted.
