The Official Government Newspaper: Car Production Has Also Declined

The official government newspaper reports that car production has also declined.

The official government newspaper, Iran, has written that in recent months, many car registrants have faced financial losses due to the opportunism of car manufacturers and assemblers, and they certainly cannot get their money back because their contracts have been forcibly changed.

The Minister of Industry, Mines, and Trade has announced that car manufacturers absolutely do not have the legal right to force buyers to make compulsory purchases of their products and must operate according to the contract in the integrated system.

This situation arises while car production has also declined. Although it was planned for car manufacturers to produce at least 1.6 million vehicles this year, statistics indicate that they will not reach such production numbers.

This issue sends new signals to car buyers, and perhaps these negative reports have caused people to go along with the discordant tune of the car manufacturers, fearing that the market will face a shortage of cars again. Therefore, they accept the recommendations or compulsions of the car manufacturers and pay more for the cars proposed by the manufacturers and assemblers.

Buyers of Quick, Saina, Rana Plus, Dena Plus, Shahin, Peugeot 207, and Tara cars have experienced these mentioned problems and have repeatedly expressed their complaints and grievances.

One of the registrants of the integrated system regarding the Dena car stated that they purchased a Dena car through the integrated system, but suddenly the price of this car increased by 80 million tomans. This number is very high, and clearly, the car manufacturer has not considered how we are supposed to pay the price difference.
