The president of the University of Religions and Denominations in Iran: The constitution should be revised during Khamenei’s lifetime.

The president of the University of Religions and Denominations in Iran has stated that the constitution should be revised during the lifetime and authority of Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic.

Abulhassan Navab told Ensafnews that the constitution should be revised during Mr. Khamenei’s lifetime and during his authority.

Mr. Navab said one of the criticisms raised by those who rightfully demand changes to the constitution pertains to structural issues.

Regarding Mir Hossein Mousavi’s statement, in which he proposed a three-step plan to move past the Islamic Republic, he said Mr. Mousavi has almost stepped outside the framework of the Islamic Republic system; he proposed a referendum to move past the system, which we absolutely do not accept.
