The price of a barrel of oil approached the $110 mark

The price of a barrel of Brent crude oil from the North Sea approached the $110 mark in European markets by noon on Friday, the seventh of Esfand month.

The price of oil had dropped a day earlier following renewed optimism expressed by Donald Trump about the possibility of an imminent end to the war, but on Friday, it resumed its upward trend in Asian and European markets.

This price increase coincides with the continuation of missile and drone attacks by the Islamic Republic on countries around the Persian Gulf, the Revolutionary Guard’s announcement of the practical closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and the withdrawal of three cargo ships from passing through the Persian Gulf to the Sea of Oman.
