The price of packaged eggs reached four thousand tomans

The price of eggs per piece has reached four thousand tomans.

Reports from unofficial sources in the Iranian market indicate a sharp increase in the prices of chicken and eggs in Iran. At the same time, a labor activist stated that the cost of a minimum livelihood basket has reached 21 million tomans.

The Telegram channel ‘Civil Protest Market’ wrote that its field reports indicate that packaged eggs have faced a price increase.

Last week, this channel wrote that the price of a carton of eggs has reached 105 thousand tomans, which means each egg costs 4 thousand tomans.

Other unofficial sources have also reported that the price of chicken has increased to 103 thousand tomans per kilogram.

Meanwhile, the Tasnim news agency wrote that market-regulated frozen chicken, priced at 45 thousand tomans, which is 18 thousand tomans below the approved chicken rate, is being distributed without limitation in fruit and vegetable markets.
