The removal of Mojtaba Khamenei: The succession debate is serious. In recent days, Fatemeh Hashemi met with Mojtaba Khamenei. Other names on the list included Hassan Khomeini, Amoli Larijani, Raisi, and Ahmad Khatami. However, it is highly likely that none of them are the main candidate. The serious candidate, accepted by all factions and military and security forces, is Ayatollah Ali Khomeini.
Saeed Aganji, a journalist and owner of the Iran Gate news site, wrote about the infiltration within the IRGC Intelligence and published a document regarding the Taeb circle, stating that the reason for Mojtaba’s weakened position was Taeb’s removal.
