The Taliban Foreign Minister is trying to evacuate 120 Afghans from Sudan.

Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Taliban Foreign Minister, said yesterday, Sunday, in the city of Khost in eastern Afghanistan, that the Taliban government pursues Afghan prisoners anywhere in the world.

He referred to the release of hundreds of imprisoned citizens in Iran who have been transferred to Afghanistan based on an agreement between Kabul and Tehran, as well as hundreds of detainees in Pakistan held due to residency documents.

While intense fighting continues in Sudan, especially in its capital Khartoum, various countries are increasingly striving to evacuate their citizens.

Some countries have succeeded, however, many foreign citizens remain trapped in Sudan with no way to leave. They have been advised to stay wherever they are for now.
