Third day of strikes in the third month of nationwide protests

The number of casualties in Izeh has increased

Protests and strikes in Iran have entered their third month, with Wednesday night being one of the deadliest nights of protests. Demonstrations continued in several cities and resulted in the deaths of a number of protesters and security forces, at least in Izeh and Isfahan.

Official sources and state media have unanimously pointed the finger of blame at terrorists, mentioning an armed attack by ISIS operatives who fled after the terrorist operation. However, some eyewitnesses reported that shootings began during the gatherings and attributed the responsibility for the deaths of citizens to the security forces.

Additionally, reports and images shared on social media indicate that security forces could not tolerate the strikes in some cities and areas, particularly the iron market in the Shadabad neighborhood of Tehran, and resorted to destroying citizens’ property.
