The United States is equipping Ukraine with long-range missiles
The United States is considered Ukraine’s most important ally, having provided $29 billion in military aid, and now another package is on its way, intended to double the range of Ukraine’s artillery.
The United States is set to provide Ukraine with more military aid, which includes high-precision and long-range missiles.
The spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Defense, the Pentagon, has stated that the value of this new military aid is $22 billion, approximately 2 billion euros. The range of these missiles, known as GLSDB missiles or Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bombs, has been announced to be 150 kilometers.
This range is double that of the missiles Ukraine currently possesses. The new missiles will enable Kyiv to attack Russian targets located far from the front lines.
