The American Wall Street Journal has reported that the Biden administration is pressuring European allies to withdraw their proposed resolution at the International Atomic Energy Agency against the advancement of Iran’s nuclear program.
The journal, citing diplomats, has stated that while the UK and France are preparing a plan against Tehran, Joe Biden opposes such an action because he wants to prevent escalating tensions with Tehran before the U.S. presidential elections this fall.
