The White House: Iran will face serious consequences if it rejects the U.S. proposal
White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt stated that the United States has presented a very precise and acceptable proposal to the Islamic Republic of Iran and warned that if this proposal is not accepted, Iran will face serious consequences.
She said the President has also emphasized this matter repeatedly.
The White House spokesperson refrained from commenting directly on the details of this proposal when asked and added, ‘We do not negotiate through the media.’
This decision has been made out of respect for the ongoing discussions led by Mr. Witkoff’s special representative.
Leavitt also emphasized Donald Trump’s firm stance on zero enrichment by the Islamic Republic and said the President clearly stated his position last night, which is the official stance of his administration.
She concluded by expressing hope that the Islamic Republic would accept this proposal.
