The Window of Nuclear Diplomacy with Iran is Rapidly Closing

Kallas: The window for nuclear diplomacy with Iran is rapidly closing.

According to the Associated Press, European officials on Wednesday, September 17, warned the Islamic Republic that it has not yet taken the necessary actions to prevent the re-imposition of United Nations sanctions against its nuclear program, and time is running out.

These statements were made by the German Foreign Ministry and the European Union after Iran’s contact with representatives from France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, as well as Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s foreign policy chief.

In a statement, Kallas warned that the window for finding a diplomatic solution to the Islamic Republic’s nuclear issue is rapidly closing.

She continued by saying that Tehran must take credible steps to respond to the demands of France, the United Kingdom, and Germany, which means full cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency and allowing inspections of all nuclear sites without delay.
