The third trial session for the perpetrators of the Shahcheragh attack was held

Mizan News Agency, affiliated with the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, states that the third court session for the perpetrators of the attack on the Shahcheragh shrine in Shiraz was held in the first branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of this city, presided over by Judge Mohammad Sadati.

According to this report, the representative of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in this session elaborated on the connections of the second to fifth defendants with the main perpetrator of the assassination, who was killed on the day of the incident at the Shahcheragh shrine, as well as Mohammad Ramez Rashidi, the first defendant in the case, and while defending the indictment, requested the court to issue sentences for the other defendants in the case.

Mizan News Agency reports that Mohammad Ramez Rashidi, the first defendant, defended himself by taking the stand and stated that he received military training in Jowzjan province, Afghanistan.
