On the thirtieth day of Vahid Beheshti’s hunger strike, a conservative member of the British Parliament visited Beheshti.
Vahid Beheshti, a journalist in London, has entered the 30th day of his hunger strike.
He has been camping in front of the British Foreign Office in London for a month and is on a hunger strike, demanding that the British government list the IRGC as a terrorist group. He has stated that he will not end his strike until this demand is met. On Friday, March 24th, Stuart Polak, a conservative politician and member of the British House of Lords, visited Vahid Beheshti. Mr. Polak asked Vahid Beheshti to take care of himself.
Lord Polak told Vahid Beheshti that in this fight, we have each other, but you must promise to take care of yourself. In response, Vahid Beheshti told Lord Polak that he is taking care of himself, but we must show them that the policy of appeasement leads nowhere, as the Islamic Republic knows how to deal with this approach, and hostage-taking is their main policy.
