Three businesses were sealed by Qom province police for breaking the fast.
The police commander of Qom province announced actions against businesses promoting breaking the fast throughout the province.
Commander Mohammadreza Mirheidari of Qom province’s police stated that based on public reports, for increased supervision of food businesses, restaurants, and cafes during the holy month of Ramadan, 14 supervisory teams from the Tharallah Base of the Guilds, along with police officers from the public places division, patrolled certain squares and neighborhoods in the province and identified violating businesses while overseeing all eateries in various areas.
According to the public relations of Qom province police, he stated that in this operation, more than 43 ethical and business warnings were given to eateries, 34 closure notices were issued, and 3 violating businesses were sealed, and they were summoned to the public security police division of the Qom province police command for legal proceedings.
Mirheidari added that the implementation of this plan will continue regularly until the end of the holy month of Ramadan and stated that those who break the fast in public will be dealt with according to the law.
