Three Consecutive Earthquakes Shook Bahabad County in Yazd

Three consecutive earthquakes shook the city of Bahabad in Yazd.

Three earthquakes shook the city of Bahabad in Yazd Province early this Friday morning, December 7th, November 28th.

Bahabad is located about 200 kilometers from the center of Yazd Province.

These earthquakes were recorded at magnitudes of 4.9, 5.1, and 3.2 in this city.

Iranian media have reported that Red Crescent rescue teams have been dispatched to areas near the earthquake’s epicenter to conduct initial assessments.

Ehsan Balaketfi, the Director General of Yazd Crisis Management, said that the three earthquakes have not caused any financial or human losses so far.

Additionally, another earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 shook the area around the city of Ardakan in Sepidan County, Fars Province, early this morning.
