Three Iranian engineers accused of stealing Google’s trade secrets

Three Iranian engineers working in Silicon Valley have been charged with stealing trade secrets from Google and other tech companies and illegally transferring information, including to Iran.

The accused include Sarvar Ghandali, his sister Samaneh Ghandali, and Mohammad Javad Khosravi, Samaneh’s husband, and they are charged with conspiracy to steal trade secrets and obstruction of justice.

These three Iranian citizens were arrested yesterday and appeared in federal court in San Jose, California. They are scheduled to appear before a judge today to appoint a lawyer.
