Police have found and freed three Indian men who were kidnapped in Iran
The kidnapping of these three individuals was reported to Tehran police on May 1
The Iranian embassy in India said on May 29 that it is investigating the fate of the three Indian citizens who disappeared in Tehran a month ago
These three men, who are from Punjab state in northwest India, stopped in Iran on May 1 on their way to Australia
A local travel company had promised them a high-paying job in Australia
Their families say that unknown individuals took the three men hostage as soon as they arrived in Iran and demanded a ransom of 5 million rupees, equivalent to 63,000 dollars, for their release
