Three major cities in Iran are still grappling with pollution

The head of the National Center for Weather Forecasting and Crisis Management in Iran reported air pollution in the three major cities of Tehran, Karaj, and Arak over the next two days.

Sadegh Ziaeian, in an interview with ISNA news agency, said that on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 5th and 6th, the concentration of atmospheric pollutants in the cities of Tehran, Karaj, and Arak is expected from early evening.

Tejarat News also wrote that due to air pollution, schools and offices in Alborz province, which were closed yesterday and today, Sunday and Monday, February 3rd and 4th, might also be declared closed for Tuesday, February 5th.

The site stated that so far, no news has been released about the closure of offices and schools in Alborz for tomorrow, February 5th, and we must wait for the formation of the Alborz Air Pollution Task Force meeting this afternoon and the decision regarding the closure on Tuesday, February 5th.
