Three protesting students summoned over student poisonings

Reports from Iran indicate that Hasti Amiri, Zia Naboudi, and Fereshteh Toosi, students from Allameh Tabataba’i University, are facing charges following complaints by the university’s security and Basij forces.

According to the Human Rights Organization in Iran, their interrogation and indictment session was held on Monday at Branch 2 of the District 33 Court in Tehran.

It is reported that they have been accused of propaganda against the regime.

According to the Coordinating Council of Iranian Teachers’ Trade Associations channel, the current case was formed following these students’ protests against the chain poisonings of school students and the violent treatment of students by security.

All three have previously faced legal actions due to their activism and dissenting opinions.
