Tiger at Mashhad Zoo Died

A tiger at the Mashhad zoo died

According to the Khorasan Razavi Department of Environment, an 11-year-old tiger died at the Mashhad zoo due to food getting stuck in its throat, as reported by the Khorasan Razavi Veterinary Department.

After the autopsy, it was determined that a piece of meat given to the tiger was lodged in the animal’s throat. Given its soft texture, it likely got stuck in the tiger’s throat due to vomiting, leading to its suffocation.
