Toomaj Salehi has been denied the right to make phone calls

According to the information from Toomaj Salehi’s defense lawyer, this well-known Iranian rap singer has been prohibited from making phone calls outside the prison.

Amir Raeisian, Salehi’s defense lawyer, wrote on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday, April 30th (11th of Ordibehesht), that just a few days after the announcement of his client’s death sentence, making phone calls with this protesting singer has no longer been possible. It has been said that the reason for this is the activities of his relatives on social networks.
